How do I upgrade to a Gold or Platinum card from the Standard card?

Anyone can upgrade to a Gold or Platinum Mastercard, but you must first apply for a Standard card. Once your Standard card is active, you can request an upgrade within the app.

Where is my fiat stored?

Your fiat is stored in your Swiss IBAN, provided by Fiat24 and safeguarded under Swiss financial regulations. The Fiat is held by the Swiss National Bank.
The crypto is always in your own custody.

Do I get my own IBAN?

Yes, you will receive a personal IBAN linked to your account for fiat transactions.

Who is Fiat24, and what license do they have?

Fiat24 is our collaboration partner for the bank account and Mastercard. Fiat24 is regulated in Switzerland and holds a FINMA Fintech license as a financial institution.

What are the top-up and FX fees?

The fees for crypto top-ups and foreign exchange (FX) swaps vary based on your card tier:

Standard Card: 1% Crypto Top-up & FX Fee

Gold Card: 0.5% Crypto Top-up & FX Fee

Platinum Card: 0.25% Crypto Top-up & FX Fee

What are the fees for bank wire top-ups?

Top-ups with bank wire transfers are free of charge.

Is the bank account and Mastercard free?

The bank account and Mastercard are free. Which is super cool, for a Swiss offshrie bank account. For the crypto top-up and FX swap, there is a 1% fee. This fee can be reduced with higher card tiers.

With which crypto can I top up the bank account or debit card?

The bank account can be topped up with USDC, USDT, ETH (Arbitrum) or via direct bank transfer. You can swap to these assets within the app from various currencies like BTC or SOL. The card itself does not need to be topped up; it directly debits the bank account.

What’s the base currency of the card?

The card supports multiple base currencies: USD, CHF, EUR, and RMB. It will debit the corresponding currency account within the app.

Do I need to do KYC?

Yes, the bank and card service requires KYC. The rest of the app is pure DeFi, hence no KYC required.
